I recently took a cake pop making class with a group of friends and had an absolute blast! The instructor was super knowledgeable and helpful, and couldn't have been more accomodating especially as I required gluten free adjustments due to ceoliac disease. We all had a great time learning how to make delicious and cute cake pops with added bonus of pizza and prosecco. The best part was getting to eat our creations at the end - they were so tasty! I would definitely recommend this class to anyone looking for a fun and unique activity to do with friends. 10/10 would do it again!

I booked the piping techniques class for my friend as a birthday present and we attended last Sunday. We were warmly welcomed by Ffi as we arrived and offered tea or coffee. It was a lovely intimate class, as there were only 10 of us in total. All the workstations were set up beautifully on arrival with everything we needed for the class, so there was zero flaffing… apron on and Ffi started by demonstrating how we were to make our buttercream and gave us some top tips. We had great fun then using the vast array of food colourings she had to make up our own colours to use for piping. She then demonstrated how to fit the nozzle in the piping bag. Then demonstrated how to  fill it and how to hold it, before demonstrating several different patterns that could be achieved from that one nozzle. We all went back to our stations and gave it a go, before returning for further demonstrations of other nozzles. Ffi is a pro and she makes it look soooo easy… she is so friendly and so calming and came round each workstation and helped us all and answered any questions we had between demonstrations. The class was 3 hrs long, however it just flew in … though it was all at a lovely pace and didn’t feel rushed. I was absolutely chuffed with my 12 cupcakes and came away confident that I could replicate it again, to give plain fairy cakes the Whao factor! I would definitely recommend Baker & Chef and would love to return to try some of her other classes.

Looking for a sweet activity you can enjoy together? This hands-on cake pop workshop is all about creativity, colour, and a whole lot of chocolatey fun!

Perfect for all ages from 6 years upwards, this class is designed for parents and children to work side by side, laugh lots, and make something truly delicious.  Adults too love this activity so it really makes a great activity for all the family!

My granddaughter and I spent a lovely time together yesterday making pop cakes.  The venue is on the site of the former Ormeau Gasworks building. We were greeting on arrival with a welcome drink and cookies. The kitchen is beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. When all the families arrived we gave here’d around the demonstration table and were given practical instructions. Then it was our turn to use everything provided to make a selection of beautiful pop cakes and chocolates. Coffee, tea and juice was available throughout the morning. We were given a lovely box in which to transport our  confections home.
