**Cupcake Flower Piping Class**

In this hands-on class, each participant will receive 12 Baker & Chef  vanilla cupcakes—ready for you to decorate with beautiful, buttercream flowers!

You’ll learn how to pipe **four different flower designs** using smooth, American buttercream:

- **Rose**

- **Ranunculus**

- **Hydrangea**

- **Chrysanthemum**

We’ll teach you how to make the perfect American buttercream and get it to just the right consistency for flower piping. You’ll also be introduced to the piping nozzles used for each flower, with live demonstrations, expert tips, and step-by-step guidance to help you master each technique.

You’ll create **three of each flower design**, leaving the class with a full box of **12 beautifully decorated cupcakes**.

No prior piping experience is necessary—**beginners are very welcome!** Some experience can be helpful, but it’s not required.

**Bento, Bows & Bellini's – A Cake Decorating Experience**

Join us for a stylish and fun-filled cake decorating class where each guest receives their own 4" vanilla sponge cake, filled with luscious vanilla buttercream. 

Working with a colour palette of your choice, you’ll learn how to achieve a smooth, polished buttercream finish before mastering piping techniques using a variety of nozzles to create elegant scrolls, swags and rosettes. 

Finish your chic Bento cake with a choice of satin bows, edible flowers, pearl sprinkles and stem cherries. 

While you decorate, sip on Bellini's and enjoy a delicious selection of pizza.   The perfect girlie night out- or date night - or just because!

A really fun class for you both to enjoy.   This activity is really suitable for all ages.  We suggest no younger than 6yrs and we have plenty of older children who also like to join, but with their parent. 

Come and join us in making a colourful collection of cakesicles.  
In this class we’ll show you the art of making cake pops, using silicon moulds. We’ll use a selection of moulds and show you the technique for coating the moulds with chocolate ensuring a shiny finish.  

You’ll choose your colour palette before colouring the chocolate accordingly.    Each cake pop is filled with a delicious vanilla sponge and buttercream. 

After un-moulding your cake pops, we’ll show you how to decorate your pops using various techniques and then we’ll let you lose in the sprinkles bar – so that you can finish them off with an individual flourish! 

Working together to create these treats, you’ll l leave with  8 Cake Pops between you and a selection of chocolatey decorations.

My granddaughter and I spent a lovely time together yesterday making pop cakes.  The venue is on the site of the former Ormeau Gasworks building. We were greeting on arrival with a welcome drink and cookies. The kitchen is beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. When all the families arrived we gave here’d around the demonstration table and were given practical instructions. Then it was our turn to use everything provided to make a selection of beautiful pop cakes and chocolates. Coffee, tea and juice was available throughout the morning. We were given a lovely box in which to transport our  confections home. 
Our host was brilliant and I would thoroughly recommend her classes. We hope to return in the future to enjoy more classes.

I booked the piping techniques class for my friend as a birthday present and we attended last Sunday. We were warmly welcomed by Ffi as we arrived and offered tea or coffee. It was a lovely intimate class, as there were only 10 of us in total. All the workstations were set up beautifully on arrival with everything we needed for the class, so there was zero flaffing… apron on and Ffi started by demonstrating how we were to make our buttercream and gave us some top tips. We had great fun then using the vast array of food colourings she had to make up our own colours to use for piping. She then demonstrated how to fit the nozzle in the piping bag. Then demonstrated how to  fill it and how to hold it, before demonstrating several different patterns that could be achieved from that one nozzle. We all went back to our stations and gave it a go, before returning for further demonstrations of other nozzles. Ffi is a pro and she makes it look soooo easy… she is so friendly and so calming and came round each workstation and helped us all and answered any questions we had between demonstrations. The class was 3 hrs long, however it just flew in … though it was all at a lovely pace and didn’t feel rushed. I was absolutely chuffed with my 12 cupcakes and came away confident that I could replicate it again, to give plain fairy cakes the Whao factor! I would definitely recommend Baker & Chef and would love to return to try some of her other classes.

You’ll be making from scratch this adorable family of biscuit bears, each bejewelled with sugarpaste bows, flowers and decorations. 

We’ll start by making the vanilla cookies, using a delicious recipe which won’t spread in the oven when your little bears are baking!  

During this class we’ll show you how to use sugar paste and modelling tools and cutters to decorate the cookies.  
  
At the end of the session each pair will get to take home a family of bears including daddy bear, mommy bear and 8 baby bears - which we’ll box up for you in a stylish Baker & Chef Box.

From the welcome from Ffi, to the detailed instructions on how to do different types of piping, the drinks on offer (both soft and alcoholic. We thoroughly enjoyed it all and could not recommend a visit to Baker and Chef highly enough it is just something different to enjoy with friends.

A fantastic night out. Went to the mini cup cake class with prosseco and pizza. Fantastic tuition on Piping and Fondent with lots to do. Easy enough for beginners but equally lovely for those who are a bit more experienced. The prosseco was flowing and pizza was delightful while the tunes played away. Would def recommend. Was a fantastic event for something a bit different for friends and family to do together.

What a genuinely incredible evening. Ffion had thought of everything and accomodated for those of us with serious dietary requirements.

I've never had as much fun decorating mini cupcakes, and the atmosphere Ffion created for us all allowed perfect strangers to chat so easily amidst the fondant and the buttercream.

My cousin and I went to the cupcake decorating class for me birthday. The class was so informative I never thought I would be able to do the designs we learned, there were so mant instructments to use and colour options and decorations options. We met lovely people at our work station. The drinks did not stop coming! It was such a lovely evening I have been recommending it to so many of my friends and I hope to go back soon

The Lambeth Cake design is as popular as ever—with its vintage charm and beautifully intricate hand-piped layers, it’s a truly stunning cake that never goes out of style.

In this class, we’ll guide you through every step to create your own show-stopping Lambeth-style cake. 

Each participant will be given a pre-baked 8 inch round two tier vanilla sponge cake.  

You’ll begin by making the ultimate American buttercream - understanding the right consistencies required for icing a cake vs piping.  You'll fill, stack and crumb coat your cake before learning how achieve that ultra smooth flat icing finish - all in the colour palette of your choice.

You’ll then learn how to pipe like a pro, creating consistent patterns and symmetrical lines using a variety of decorative nozzles.    Using our piping template sheet you'll have plenty of time to practice your piping styles before decorating your cake.  

We'll complete the look with stem cherries, bows and sprinkles of your choice. 

This class is perfect for anyone looking to refine their piping skills and explore a unique and timeless cake design.
