You’ll be making from scratch this adorable family of biscuit bears, each with their woolly scarf on. 

We’ll start by making the vanilla cookies, using a delicious recipe which won’t spread in the oven when your little bears are baking!  

During this class we’ll show you how to use sugar paste and modelling tools and cutters to decorate the cookies.  We know these will be a sure hit with your friends and family
.  
At the end of the session everyone will leave with their very own yummy collection of bears, including daddy bear, mommy bear and 10 baby bears - which we’ll box up for you in a stylish Baker & Chef Box and Bag.

From the welcome from Ffi, to the detailed instructions on how to do different types of piping, the drinks on offer (both soft and alcoholic. My friend and I indulged in the prosecco), the pizza provided, the assistance throughout, meeting new people, the whole evening was just fantastic. 

A brilliant way to spend a few hours with friends, meeting others, learning new skills, having food and drink, and best of all, getting gorgeous mini cupcakes out of it at the end of the night (that were thoroughly enjoyed by all who sampled them)!  Ffi has created an amazing space, well planned out, and is a most generous host. Really looking forward to our next night there.

Ffi was a great host and took time to explain to us the different processes for decorating the cup cakes before we all attempted to decorate our selection of home made cupcakes. Easy enough for beginners but equally lovely for those who are a bit more experienced. The prosseco was flowing and pizza was delightful while the tunes played away. Would def recommend. You’ll learn the techniques to pipe 4 different flowers (creating 3 of each), using American buttercream.  The flowers include:

We’ll show you how to make the perfect American Buttercream to the correct consistency for piping flowers. We’ll talk you through all the various piping nozzles which we’ll be using and demonstrate the piping technique for each flower and all the tips and tricks.

This class is ideally suited to those bakers who’ve had some experience of using a piping bag before but it isn't essential as we'll guide you through everything. 

You’ll leave with 12 beautiful cupcakes boxed up, and presented in our very own Baker & Chef box.

Spring & Summer Flower Collection - Piping Techniques 

A really fun class for you both to enjoy.   This activity is really suitable for all ages.  We suggest no younger than 6yrs and we have plenty of older children who also like to join, but with their parent. 

Come and join us in making a colourful collection of cakesicles.  
In this class we’ll show you the art of making cake pops, using silicon moulds. We’ll use a selection of moulds and show you the technique for coating the moulds with chocolate ensuring a shiny finish.  

You’ll choose your colour palette before colouring the chocolate accordingly.    Each cake pop is filled with a delicious vanilla sponge and buttercream. 

After un-moulding your cake pops, we’ll show you how to decorate your pops using various techniques and then we’ll let you lose in the sprinkles bar – so that you can finish them off with an individual flourish! 

Working together to create these treats, you’ll l leave with  8 Cake Pops between you and a selection of chocolatey decorations.

My granddaughter and I spent a lovely time together yesterday making pop cakes.  The venue is on the site of the former Ormeau Gasworks building. We were greeting on arrival with a welcome drink and cookies. The kitchen is beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. When all the families arrived we gave here’d around the demonstration table and were given practical instructions. Then it was our turn to use everything provided to make a selection of beautiful pop cakes and chocolates. Coffee, tea and juice was available throughout the morning. We were given a lovely box in which to transport our  confections home. 
Our host was brilliant and I would thoroughly recommend her classes. We hope to return in the future to enjoy more classes.
