Join us for this fun and stylish cake decorating class!  Bring your bestie, your baking buddy, or simply come along and meet others.  No need for any prior cake decorating experience, as it is perfect for all abilities and you'll be guided through at every stage.  A really fun way to spend your evening. 

During this class you will be given  a pre-baked, 4'' vanilla cake, which you'll start by covering with our delicious signature vanilla buttercream - learning how to get that all important ultra smooth finish. 

Perfect the art of cake decorating using an array of piping tips to create stylish buttercream swags, shells and rosettes in the colour palette of your choice, before adorning your cakes with a delightful array of edible petals and flowers.

Enjoy the class whilst sipping on prosecco or mocktails, and tucking into a selection of delicious pizza.

 A really fun class where we'll bring out all the tools to create this  truly stunning collection of seasonal cupcakes.  

Each baker will be given 12 pre-baked vanilla Baker & Chef cupcakes ready to decorate. 

Using a multitude of piping tips we'll show you how to pipe using our signature buttercream,  creating gorgeous patterns and styles - all in the colour palette of your choice.    You'll be able to practice  first and we'll be there to guide you through at every stage.  

You'll also use fondant, learning how to to colour it to create stylish ombre and marble designs, and use seasonal embossers and fondant moulds to give that Easter feel.  

Finally completing the look with gold writing,  glitters, mini Easter eggs and the sprinkles of your choice.   

A really fun and enjoyable class which can be enjoyed by most ages.   

Our scrumptious vanilla sponge recipe will also be shared.

Easter Cup Cake Class - Fondant & Piping  Styles

Question 1

A really fun class for you both to enjoy.   This activity is really suitable for all ages.  We suggest no younger than 6yrs and we have plenty of older children who also like to join, but with their parent. 

Come and join us in making a colourful collection of cakesicles.  
In this class we’ll show you the art of making cake pops, using silicon moulds. We’ll use a selection of moulds and show you the technique for coating the moulds with chocolate ensuring a shiny finish.  

You’ll choose your colour palette before colouring the chocolate accordingly.    Each cake pop is filled with a delicious vanilla sponge and buttercream. 

After un-moulding your cake pops, we’ll show you how to decorate your pops using various techniques and then we’ll let you lose in the sprinkles bar – so that you can finish them off with an individual flourish! 

Working together to create these treats, you’ll l leave with  8 Cake Pops between you and a selection of chocolatey decorations.

My daughter found it easy to follow Ffi's instructions as we were taught a little and then given time to go and practise what we had learnt before then being taught the next step in the process.   The venue was fantastic.  It was well laid out with plenty of room for each couple.  I really enjoyed how easy it was to switch off from everything else going on in the world and just focus on my cake pop design.  It definitely felt like a lovely bit of "me time". My granddaughter and I spent a lovely time together yesterday making pop cakes.  The venue is on the site of the former Ormeau Gasworks building. We were greeting on arrival with a welcome drink and cookies. The kitchen is beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. When all the families arrived we gave here’d around the demonstration table and were given practical instructions. Then it was our turn to use everything provided to make a selection of beautiful pop cakes and chocolates. Coffee, tea and juice was available throughout the morning. We were given a lovely box in which to transport our  confections home. 
Our host was brilliant and I would thoroughly recommend her classes. We hope to return in the future to enjoy more classes.

The ultimate cakepop class - the perfect girls night out! 

In this class you’ll each be given 12 pre-baked Baker & Chef vanilla cupcakes, ready for you to start decorating.  

You’ll learn the techniques to pipe 4 different flowers (creating 3 of each), using American buttercream.  The flowers include:

We’ll show you how to make the perfect American Buttercream to the correct consistency for piping flowers. We’ll talk you through all the various piping nozzles which we’ll be using and demonstrate the piping technique for each flower and all the tips and tricks.

This class is ideally suited to those bakers who’ve had some experience of using a piping bag before but it isn't essential as we'll guide you through everything. 

You’ll leave with 12 beautiful cupcakes boxed up, and presented in our very own Baker & Chef box. 


Learn the art of piping an array of beautiful spring & summer flowers and leave with a stunning box of 12 floral cupcakes. 

Spring & Summer Flower Collection - Piping Techniques 

During this class, you'll each be given a box of 6 freshly home baked vanilla cupcakes, ready for you to start decorating.  

We'll start with a demonstration, and easy to follow instructions on how to create this beautiful collection of cakes.   You'll colour your fondant to the colour palette of your choice and create your own compositions using the skills and guidance provided. 

You'll learn the following during this class:

- What tools and equipment are required to work with sugarpaste when modelling flowers.
- What ingredients are required
- How to colour your fondant to create more realistic petals & designs 
- How to make a multitude of flowers including roses, buds, blossoms and daisies. 
- How to emboss leaves. 
- How to create that perfect look and finish and composition. 

 Learn how to make this pretty collection of cupcakes, using sugarpaste to create a selection of delicate flowers, perfect for elevating your baking treats. 

Sugarpaste Flower Cupcakes 

You’ll be making from scratch this adorable family of biscuit bears, each bejewelled with sugarpaste bows, flowers and decorations. 

We’ll start by making the vanilla cookies, using a delicious recipe which won’t spread in the oven when your little bears are baking!  

During this class we’ll show you how to use sugar paste and modelling tools and cutters to decorate the cookies.  
  
At the end of the session each pair will get to take home a family of bears including daddy bear, mommy bear and 8 baby bears - which we’ll box up for you in a stylish Baker & Chef Box.

Received a fantastic and easy to follow demo and left to our devices. I liked this as we were given creative control or if we wanted help it was there if need be.

The studio was clean and an instagrammers haven.

Already thinking of my next excuse to go again.

Three of us did the cakepops and prosecco night! This event is so worthwhile! There was endless bottles of prosecco, but also options for those who were not drinking alcohol, there were so many treats and pizza. In relation to the cakepops, there was a perfect balance of having some elements prepared so that it wasnt too difficult, but still allowing us to be creative and learn some skills. I would definitely recommend for a girly night out, I would even go again!
