Get ready for a frightfully fun day of baking and decorating at Baker & Chef!

In this hands-on Halloween camp, each baker will whip up 12 delicious cupcakes, (recipe will be shared) then dive into the world of creative decorating with a spooky seasonal twist.

We’ll guide you through a range of professional decorating techniques using fondant and buttercream in the Halloween colours of your choice, including the following:

- Create ombré effects and use themed cutters, moulds, and debossers for fang-tastic fondant designs
- Let us show you how to pipe and learn how to use a variety of nozzles to create cool designs including rosettes, shells, and gems.
- Add dazzling final touches with sprinkles, edible glitter, and shimmering dusts

Halloween Cupcakes -  Baking & Decorating Day Camp 

A really fun class for you both to enjoy.   This activity is really suitable for all ages.  We suggest no younger than 6yrs and we have plenty of older children who also like to join, but with their parent. 

Come and join us in making a colourful collection of cakesicles.  
In this class we’ll show you the art of making cake pops, using silicon moulds. We’ll use a selection of moulds and show you the technique for coating the moulds with chocolate ensuring a shiny finish.  

You’ll choose your colour palette before colouring the chocolate accordingly.    Each cake pop is filled with a delicious vanilla sponge and buttercream. 

After un-moulding your cake pops, we’ll show you how to decorate your pops using various techniques and then we’ll let you lose in the sprinkles bar – so that you can finish them off with an individual flourish! 

Working together to create these treats, you’ll l leave with  8 Cake Pops between you and a selection of chocolatey decorations.

My granddaughter and I spent a lovely time together yesterday making pop cakes.  The venue is on the site of the former Ormeau Gasworks building. We were greeting on arrival with a welcome drink and cookies. The kitchen is beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. When all the families arrived we gave here’d around the demonstration table and were given practical instructions. Then it was our turn to use everything provided to make a selection of beautiful pop cakes and chocolates. Coffee, tea and juice was available throughout the morning. We were given a lovely box in which to transport our  confections home. 
Our host was brilliant and I would thoroughly recommend her classes. We hope to return in the future to enjoy more classes.

My mum and I had such a lovely fun festive evening making cake pops and drinking fizz! Fi was so lovely. Explaining everything step by step and helping us along the way. Such a lovely thing to do with my mum! Cant wait to book in for something else!!

The evening was so relaxed and chilled from start to finish.
Our tutor Fi was so reassuring and made us feel very welcome.
Fi was excellent at teaching she not only explained the different forms of tools and chocolate. Fis teaching was extremely easy to understand as she broke each baking stage into segments to give us all a chance to do one part of the baking and continue like that throughout the night. Although the class is several hours it flys in sooooo quickly as your having so much fun. 

The drinks are available all night at your own leasure and the pizzas come out after the first part of the cake pop stage begins as it would be the longest part of the process.  The night is extremely fun a night out with the girls Fi the tutor is extremely lovely, very approachable and will help with whatever you need.

We’ll save you the baking time—each participant will receive 12 pre-baked Baker & Chef vanilla cupcakes, ready to decorate.

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to:

- Make our signature buttercream and understand the right consistencies for different decorating needs.
- Choose and work with a colour palette of your choice, for your design.
- How do properly fill and handle a piping bag like a pro.
- Use a wide variety of piping tips to create stylish patterns and designs.
